Nocino Barrel Finished
Our Appalachian tribute to the classic Italian-style Nocino (walnut liqueur) takes a roasty Tennessee High Malt mash bill and introduces a combination of chestnut & hazelnut flours to the wash and spirit - prior to distillation. After over 4 years in charred oak barrels, the spirit was finished in black walnut liqueur barrels - from our friends at Eda Rhyne. The result is a rich, spicy, and delicately nutty dram, fit for a winter-time chestnut roast.
