Vatted High Malt
Inspired by the age-old vatted whiskeys of Scotland, this Tennessee High Malt blends (vats) together two distinctive wheated high malts from our two distinctive distilleries. Comprised of 1 pot-distilled recipe and 1 column-distilled recipe, 2 barrels of each recipe were selected for their complementary flavor profiles, and then vatted into one very special finishing barrel: a 100+ year old Oloroso Sherry Cask. This rare, unsourced vatting is our innovative take on one of the industry’s oldest traditions, and highlights the best of both whiskeys.

Tasting notes: Fragrant aged wine aromas of raisin bread, fruit cake, river rock and walnut skin. Palate has more delicate notes of wheat malt and nutty oloroso, with a subtle note of caramel & chocolate in the finish.
