Inspired by our head distiller’s near-deadly obsession with pumpernickel rye bread, this lesser known style of rye whiskey contains multiple varieties of rye malt, including drum roasted caramel rye malt. The result is rich, dense, spicy and warming - like eating a slice of rye straight from the oven.
