One Mash Bill. Two Independent Paths.
The Confluence Project is a single mash, single barrel distilling collaboration between Chattanooga Whiskey and New Riff Distilling (Newport, KY).
For Volume 1 of this project, both distilleries agreed on the same Wheat Whiskey mash bill, then made it their own—cooking, fermenting, distilling, barreling, and aging the recipe their way.
Both distilleries are now releasing 11 single barrels of their house-made whiskey—showcasing two distinct grain-to-glass philosophies.
Aged 6+ years, each single barrel was filled at varied entry proofs into a range of cask types, offering a clear window into the whiskey-making process of two world-class distilleries.
