Introducing Batch 016: Fig Infused Amaro!
Inspired by the after-dinner herbal liqueurs of Italy, our Amaro-style bourbon liqueur infuses our signature Tennessee High Malt bourbon recipe with a blend of figs and aromatic botanicals for a classic bitter-sweet flavor profile. Prized for their complexity and sweetness, the Brown Turkey fig variety was locally grown by chef and restauranteurs Erik & Amanda Niel.
Mash Bill: Yellow Corn, Rye Malt, Caramel Malted Barley, Honey Malted Barley
Proof: 85 (42.% ABV)
Age of Bourbon: 3 years 7 mos
Infused with: Figs & a blend of aromatic botanicals (including Gentian, Chicory, Hibiscus, and Cinnamon)
Fig Types: Brown Turkey, Turkish, Black Mission
Barrel: Toasted & Charred Oak, 53 gallon
Batch Size: 2 barrels
Tasting notes: Floral & woodsy with notes of baking spice, dried figs, orange peel & cardamom
