Opened in 2017, Chattanooga Whiskey's Riverfront Distillery is where Tennessee High Malt comes to life. Housed inside a beautifully restored historic car dealership in downtown Chattanooga, this 46,000-square-foot grain-to-glass distillery produces every bottle of our signature whiskeys—from milling local grains to barreling and bottling.
Built to bridge innovation and tradition, the distillery combines modern production with time-honored whiskey-making techniques. At its heart is a custom-built 30-foot Vendome copper column still paired with a 100-gallon pot-style doubler, producing our distinctive Tennessee High Malt style bourbons and whiskeys.
More than 4,500 barrels mature inside our heated, dunnage-style barrelhouse, where the Tennessee River Valley's hot, humid summers and mild winters help shape each whiskey's character. The distillery is also home to our one-of-a-kind 4,000-gallon charred white oak Solera barrel, which continuously finishes Chattanooga Whiskey 91 and contributes to its signature depth and consistency.
