2021 Ascot Awards

Chattanooga Whiskey 99 Rye and Chattanooga Whiskey Cask 111 took home Double Platinum at the 2021 Ascot Awards. Chattanooga Whiskey 91 took home Gold.

Here’s what the Council of Tasters thought about our Cask 111 and 99 Rye:

Cask 111 Tasting Notes: Toffee, caramel, and butterscotch meet dark fruit and raisins in this bouquet of scents. Rich and full-bodied. A quick burst of allspice fused with nutmeg is quickly overcome by sweeter butterscotch and toffee. A light pepper lingers on the backend. Delicious and very unique!

99 Rye Tasting Notes: Gorgeous fruit notes on the palate. Cherry, citrus, oak, lovely lingering finish.

Each entry was blind-tasted and scored on a 100-point scale for appearance, aroma, taste, and finish. Awards were determined based on points.


Award Levels:
DOUBLE PLATINUM: Outstanding; earns top marks from all judges
PLATINUM: An excellent product; meets very high standards
GOLD: A finely crafted spirit deserving recognition
HONORABLE MENTION: Meets the standards of the industry
