Rye 99 Cocktails
Tennessee Rye Malt is our malt-forward approach to rye, made with over 60% malted rye, including a blend of slow toasted and drum roasted rye malt.
Brimming with sweet and savory notes of candied fruit, herbs, and spice, Tennessee Rye Malt can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in your favorite rye whiskey cocktail. Read below for a few recipes from behind our bar.
Rye Highball
2 oz Chatt Whiskey 99 Rye
Ginger ale
Fill a highball glass with ice. Add whiskey and top with ginger ale. Cheers!
Sazerac
2 oz Chatt Whiskey 99 Rye
.75 oz Dr. Thacher’s Sazerac Syrup
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir, strain into a rocks glass, and enjoy!
Rock and Rye
1 bottle (750ml) Chatt Whiskey 99 Rye
Rock candy
1 clove
2 orange slices
2 lemon slices
1 cinnamon stick
In a large container, add the whiskey, rock candy, and clove. Allow the mixture to infuse in a cool, dark place for about 3 days. Add the remaining ingredients and allow to steep for an additional 1-2 days (or more), to taste. After infusing, strain. Serve in a glass, and enjoy!
