ABOUT THIS SINGLE BARREL:
Barrel #50 is the last “Tennessee Single Malt” from our cellar. Like Batch 008, our single malt contains multiple unique varieties of malted barley from the USA, Canada, and the UK. After 2 years in a charred oak barrel, it is then finished in a barleywine style beer barrel for a silky, smooth mouthfeel and a maple-like finish.
Barrel: 53 gallon, #4 char + toast
Age: 2 years, 7 months
Mash Bill: Pearl Malt, Munich Malt, Pale Malt
Yeast: Abbey Ale
Tasting Notes: Sweet tea, raisin bread, maple syrup, with a smooth, velvety finish
